“What to bring on a flight” by Finsecpro - a new web service to help airline passengers!

A new web application has been opened to help airline passengers find out  what items they are allowed to bring on board on a flight. The service is easy to use and does not require registration.  On the webpage the user can write down an item and the service will tell whether the item may be carried in cabin baggage or in hold baggage. The service will also show any possible specific instructions for the carriage. In case the item is not found, the user may send an enquiry to the administrator of the service. Most of the enquiries will be answered within 24 hours. At the moment the service works in four different languages (English, Spanish, Swedish and Finnish) and more language options are coming this fall.

The information on the web service is based on European Union legislation and International Civil Aviation Organization’s instructions and therefore applies to passengers departing from an airport within the European Union.

The service has been created by Finsecpro, a Finnish company providing comprehensive security and safety training and consultancy services. Since 1994, Finsecpro Ltd. has served as an industry leader in security training for both private and public sector clients.
